At my last coupon seminar, I was asked about teaching some ladies how to make several of the things that I make from scratch such as yeast breads, pizza, jam, jelly, etc. After talking this over with my husband, I have decided to hold a series of "Make it from Scratch" classes here at my home. I plan on holding one a month the rest of this year. I will cover topics including (1) basic yeast bread and flavored yeast bread (2) Pizza crusts and Hamburger/hot dog buns (3) Bagels, Tea Ring, and Butter. (4) Jam, Jelly, Syrup, and Pickles.
The cost for each class would be $40. The cost will cover the class fee and baking/cooking supplies for the class. When you leave each class, you will take home (or eat here) a portion of what we bake, the recipes for what we made, and for some of the classes a type of equipment necessary to make what we did that day.
Classes will be held on the following Fridays(1) September 24th 1-4pm (2) October 22nd 9am-12pm (3) November 19th 1-4 pm (4) December 11th 1-4 pm.
