New to This Site? Need Help Deciphering the Deals?
Here at Cuttin' Up, I always strive to maintain information in such a way that it's easy for you to decipher. Until you get the hang of it, it might be a challenge. I've decided to tackle a post on how to decipher my deals that I post each week.
First off, when I post a deal for any of the stores I cover, you'll find several things.
On the first line, you'll find the item on sale and the sale price.
On the next line or lines you'll find your discounts and coupons. These will each have a minus (-) sign in front of them letting you know that you can subtract those prices.
On the last line you will find the price that you will pay per item.
Let me break it down for you a little more. Let's look at the example below:
Quaker Instant Oatmeal $5/2 - Buy 2
- $2 RR
- $1 printable - use 2
= $.50 each
The item that is on sale is Quaker Instant Oatmeal. It's on sale for $5/2. I tell you that in order to get the best discount, you need to buy 2
For this particular item, there are two discounts. The first is a $2 Register Reward. This prints after the transaction. The second discount is a printable coupon. I give you the link (right click on "printable" and select "Open in new tab"). I also tell you the value of the coupon and remind you that you can use two of them.
The final line tells you how much EACH box of oatmeal.
Here's another example:
Special K or Raisin Bran $2.50 - Buy 10
- $1/2 (7/25 RP) or printable - Use 5
- $10 catalina
= $1 each
The first line, again, tells you what is on sale, how much it costs, and tell you that you need to buy 10 for the best deal.
The second and third lines tell you that there are two discounts. You should find your one dollar off two coupon ($1/2) from the July 25th Red Plum insert (7/25 RP) or you can use a printable. I remind you that you can use five. The third line tells you that if you buy these items, a catalina for $10 will print after you pay.
The last line tells you that you will pay $1 for each box of cereal.
Hopefully, this will help explain the site. If you have any further questions or comments that might improve this page, please e-mail me at CuttinUpCoupons@gmail.com.
